The popular Volkswagen Golf is offered in a 4-door hatchback form. The Golf GTI is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 241-horsepower mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. The Golf R uses the same engine tuned to produce 315 horsepower.

The Golf GTI is offered in three trims, S, SE and Autobahn while the Golf R is available with only one AWD trim. The Golf R features 19-inch alloy wheels, auto-leveling directionally adaptive high beams, a power sunroof, a sport suspension, heated and ventilated front seats, 8-way power driver seat, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, driver seat memory, automatic dual-zone climate control with separate rear controls, a premium 9-speaker sound system, and a 10-inch touchscreen.

Standard safety features across the lineup include 6 airbags, a rear camera, parking sensors, active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, and a pedestrian detection system.
